Cherishing the last weeks...

Spent this week going out... haha... quite tiring though satisfying.. cos i reali dunno how long it would be til we all meet again...

Mon: Slack at home while trying to improve my ETP (end of term performance) but to no avail.

Tue: Meet up with merle to ask for her help. but not much was done either. she also say she dunno how to do chords/accompliment.
so im appealing to readers of my blog now:
ANYONE WHO KNOW HOW TO DO CHORDS/ACCOMPLIMENTS IS WILLING TO HELP ME?!?! PLEASE~
after that, we ate lunch (parklane wanton mee!) & went icon/bugis village to shop shop (merle wanna look for belt). Had budget dinner =p & went for the song-composing lesson.
Hai, realli discouraged now. Dun tink i wanna cont'd le... uni life shld be qt tough, summore ntu so far from hark music! on top of that, the teacher alr xian ru wei zhu, had bias views on different students le. not very helpful summore. i reali dunno how to do chords mah! wah liaoz. & that was my aim when i joined this class! to learn how to make a complete song! but what has he done? telling us about rights & more rights. IM NOT HERE TO SELL SONGS! but to MAKE SONGS!! argh.

Wed: Mom went indo. While i went for dental (Dr Lee was in such a bad mood. kept chiding the nurse :S scary~). After that meet Cedar Family (Van mommy, Kim papa, Lou Zhu ren & Beni) @ ps. Cos beni leaving for US on fri 6AM le... & she gonna spend the thur night over at the airport. wow. with her fren(S?)... hohoho...
TAKE CARE BENI! dun change too much!!

Thur: Went to eat Sakura@ Clementi Woods Park with michelle. opp nus. not very nice leh... as in not worthy of e $20 we paid for. thou there was japanese paper steamboat (which was soup tasted like Chinese HERBAL soup :/) & abalone! (but michelle say it taste fake) Went to nus so that we could take 151 home. But saw huifang! =) so went to her hostel room. Lucky i dun stay in hostel lor... the room so small! haha.. im used to my big room le =p was supposed to meet qy & merle for dinner, but kena postponed...

Fri: and so, i met them on fri... Wah liao, cos i think i've spent too much le, so decided to eat dinner at home then meet qiao yun & merle. BUT merle had to try out the nonya buffet we saw on tue (beside parklane wanton mee) -_-"" so there they were, eating the buffet while i sat there, trying to show everyone (the staff lah!) that i nv eat! haha.... *shh* but i did kopped e nonya kuehs lah.. two only!
went bugis junction to shop abit. saw M'industrie sale items. i wanna get the pants! the skirt! maybe the jeans!! i needa buy bottoms leh... hahaha....

kinda looking forward to uni, kinda not...

Settled for Settlers'

It's my lunar bday!! but mom & dad went to m'sia on a hiking trip... hAhA, but feeling bad, my mom brought back a cake! Cappucino though... though when she was buying, she kept thinking about my fav -- tiramisu! She mistook cappucino for tiramisu lor =( nvm lah. taste nice still =) AND... it's the thought that counts! so yar, apparently her thought was tiramisu ;-)

okie. enough crapping.

today's main event is ---> Jie Mei Outing! =D
Today's attendance: All except Huey Min... too bad she had something on... & the place was too far from her house... ai yah, all uncle's fault! hafta book in @ tampines by 23:59...
This time round, must give a round of applause to Da Jie! If not for Bert taking up the role (sharing with me?), i dun tink this outing would be successful ba... haha... thanks da jie! =)

At first we met at parkway parade de lor.. but then turned out, everyone was late =/ despite me being late by 15min, i was still the earliest... =S wanted to eat Fish & Co one.. cos i haven tried it before... pastamania wasnt too bad either.. but the last one who came = the one who made us meet at the east... (i didnt mind actually.. since im an 'east-er' :P) = wee wee suggest we go somewhere called Settlers' Cafe where we can eat & play board games at the same time. (something like Mind Cafe)

We started with a game called "Snorta" (spelling? ai yah, CHAO TA lah... tt's wad i called it...haha) We each picked an animal (cant see) from a bag. Lusi got pig (oinki oinku), me cat (MOO~oew), wee wee donkey (eyohe, or ee your head!), choon hwee cow (moo), bert sheep (baah, at 1st he wanted a confused sheep [woof!] haha! then after much confusion, he chose a normal sound after all!)
the game is such that each player get a stack of cards & turn them over one at a time. then whenever two similar cards appear between two players, they must shout the other's animal sound. so yea, mine was like similar to hui ge's but his was the easiest. But cos too little ppl playing, not that confusing yet lah... But wee wee was qt good, suay me kena twice by him! >.< changing ="/

then we played game of LIFE. cos i said i nv play before :P had to choose to start with college path (needa borrow $ from bank) or career path. picked the occupation as doctor at 1st. but wee wee spotted that i needed a "degree" so picked another one. Salesperson. Not bad lah, quite like the real me ;-) & i get to earn commission! The best thing was, i got the $100,000 salary!! BEST one, at least amongst us =p stoopid ching wee keep cursing me, saying "wanna slap me" cos my life was de best, & swear he wanna get my salary card. wah liao... in e end, i gotta switch with bert ($70,000. still not bad lah) then bert switched with choon hwee, AND THEN CHOON HWEE GOTTA SWITCH WITH WEE WEE LOR! wah.. was so pissed! haha... but nvm, i still won in the end ;-) just by counting my $500,000 notes, the rest's whole assets couldnt even fight! even the only LIFE card i had was worth as much as the FOUR life cards wee wee had =p
But the highlight of this game is, both me & bert played guy (i was supposed to be female!) and married another GUY!! Haha... Wee wee said we were fulfilling our inner desires to be gays =pPp Even funnier, as the game went on, Bert got a pair of twins & he chose both as boys. But then, later on, he tio a baby GAL!... poor gal lor! gotta grow up in a family of gAys (parents + brothers *potential gays*) HAHAHAHA

Nest we played Jenga (Truth or Dare version) but not that nice... so we switched after 5 turns? LOL. played this SUPER confusing game Elixis (i tink) Reali very confusing. But all in all, it's about casting spells, finding the ingredients you need & there are also other action cards... The objection is to get rid of all your spells. I casted one which exchanged Lusi's spells with mine cos mine was like Level 4 (aka i need 4 ingredients). I thought very hard to find mah.. Who noes, lusi managed to get it & WON the game! =)

Which also ended our day/nite dere. But kena cheated one hr!! See, we were supposed to get 2 hrs 'free' (cos we bought the dinner set) But there was no reminder lor! the person only came to tell us @ 2.5hr mark. It's his fault lor! even he admit. but NO DISCOUNT. wah liao... say wad his boss will fire him. HE'S SO WRONG. ppl who noe how to do business, would want to retain customers by pleasing them. To start with, we werent being unreasonable, we were fighting for our own rights. sigh. but okie lah, $18 for whole dinner set + 3 hrs of games + not that bad staff (althou no reminders, they were very patient when explaining game rules to us) + qt nice environment (except the last part where the game was too confusing & there was a loud big noisy gang around. so we MUST TALK AT THIS VOLUME. haha.)

Being kiasu & not wanting to be cheated of half hour (since e guy said @ 2.5hr mark that we were alr into the 3rd hr), we left at 10.45pm. Felt bad for the rest. Cos Bert lives AMK, Lusi Harbourfront, Choon BP. All so far... all wee wee's fault lah! wad book in @ tampines! haha... but lucky for me =p in e end bert took 135 with me =)

anw it's still a nice outing lah. Since i supposed it's gonna be a long loonng time til our next outing... unless someone is willing to take the role to organise to meet on 10th aug! =D

Hokkaido's Fair @ Tampines Mall

Whilst Maxime went to Japan, I went back to Tampines... no, not to visit her of cos.. (how to, when she's not even around?? lol) but to the Hokkaido Fair @ TM! =)

mAn, it was crowded. okay, not as if i didnt noe from the reports wan bao has been showing since its opening the previous week. But still, i dun like the "crowded" feeling :S
so i wasnt feeling at my best, having to squeeze with strangers... almost wanted to *ROAR* at them. haha.
i get very mean when im pissed.
i get pissed when im irritated.
i gget irritated even at the slightest bit of annoyance.
From whom i inherited this trait, i wonder.
Both my parents are so mild! (to outsiders oNlY ;-p)
therefore, mild * mild = violent.

budden i tink the goods on sale, similar ones can be found in singapore wad! like the gelato i tried. it's normal lor... wad's the big diff anw?! think it's just our own inner pride trying to deceive ourselves... telling ourselves "wow! we are eating jap stuff!" chey~ not much diff de lor..
there were sushi, sashimi, noodles & croquettes & e sweet stuff (okashi?).. wad i reali wanted to try was this cream puff-alike... but the Q was so super long. so i gave up the thought =( but i reali wanna eat tt one!
nvm. shall make do with singapore muffin/puffs den =p

Mom bought the dried scallop (so ex! 1kg=$78.80 lor! & she bought 1kilo =p cos the lesser u buy, the more ex it becomes... eg if u buy 100g, it cost $9.80, NOT only $7.88) & japanese yam (aka "shan yao" in the chinese term)

so the rewards not that much for this trip. but nvm. at least i went for the fair, which was what i wanted... :) thanks mom, for pei-ing me there!~

this post has nothing to do with the "World Cup" that's going on right now... okay, maybe except this para... think now is Portugal vs Germany for 3rd/4th placing & Italy vs France for the 1st/2nd place. Not vv interested in football. even if i say i support France right from the start, it would just be because i like the country, absolutely nothing to do with the members... haha!

anw, objective of this post: KICK those bad blogging habits.
(must catogerise the bad habits also.. =p cos there are some bad habits i dun wish to kick yet~ lol. like sleeping-ins~)

Bad Blogging Habit #1: Side-tracking
Didnt use to be that way... I dun always "side-track" in my "previous previous previous...." entries. [Side-tracking always results me in off-topic! & an additional, unintentional paragraph.] Think cos last time, i would juz forget about writing that particular event instead of lumping them together in one entry. This bad habit probably is due to the bad habit #2 lah.. so most important thing is to KICK #2!

Bad Blogging Habit #2: Drafts
often, i dun have the time (excuse) or the mood (just plain lazy character) to update my life. So i would write down in point-forms & saved them as drafts 1st, telling myself i would updating it soon. But as my drafts got more & more, my enthu-ness got less & less. The last time me would just forever leave those drafts as drafts. Hence resulting in no update in a very long time.
Either that, or i would suddenly xin xue lai chao & "promote" all the drafts to public-viewing posts. Hence resulting in tonnes of updates at one go.
Hence my posts usually reflect the date of the event, but not necessary the actual date of posting =p

sigh. But after writing all these, i think very hard to change leh.. hahaha...

Lesson 6 & 7

okie.. 1st time updating about my song composing lessons... all for the sake of merle. haha. cos she went for fass foc last wk, & psycho (okok, psychoLOGY =p) camp.. dumped me! hmph! lol
as a side note, i myself wun be involved in any camps... mom dun allow, saying i juz (mid-june til now?) had an op. would disagree with her. But a recent visit to both Dr Lee (dentist) & Dr Yeow (surgeon) changed my mind. Dr Lee commented my wounds are still quite raw. Ee... y do i always have such slow recovery?? =(
well, at least the stitches from the ear are gone! & i was right! the previous nurse who removed my lip&nose stitches left a tiny bit of stitch on my lips! i was puzzled cos when i apply e cream, there is this blackie "blood clot" that wun go away! then i wondered if the nurse didnt do a clean job. turned out i was right...

Anw, Lesson 6 (27/06/06)
i was the only girl present. Merle went for camp, but Phoebe? dunno... (not v close to the classmates). & i was there early... so i went to look around for CDs to borrow & even scores (wondered if i could get a copy. turn out: yes! yeah!! FREE! yeah!!)
classroom was occupied by a newly started POP PIANO class. Supposed to start at 8, but think it was after all their 1st lesson, so they ended at 8.30pm -_-"" apparently sui an lao shi's "walk back&fro" wasnt effective enough. He had to verbally tell the teacher after several failed attempts of walking hints.

So the remaining 4 of us presented our songs. STUPID SUI AN LAO SHI! initially he had said he wun ask me to sing, knowing i juz had op. BUT he broke his promise lor! wah liaoz~ & i had to be the 1st person! :/ so paiseh... sigh. but hecks. juz went with it anw... turn out, tt engineer (tai an??) so cool! had his song (lyrics + guitar accompliment) saved as mp3 alr; tt event planner guy (jj?) only had music (no lyrics. i had lyrics with melody.); that "seng tat?" guy only had chorus melody, refused to sing or add anything on the spot, regardless wad lao shi say... hmms...

OH! i finally got my red guitar!! woo hoo~ (courtesy of the promotion on Open Day. we got to choose from 3 items if we signed up for any course -> 10% off 3-months' fees, an accoustic guitar [normal, sunburst, black, blue, red] or $150 off selected Yamaha keyboards offered by the school)
but wait.
i dunno how to play?

Lesson 7 (04/07/06)
This lesson was even more pathetic. Attendence: 50%. merle & Phoebe didnt come again. This time, tt "jj" joined them. so the right side was empty while the lefy side of the classroom is filled.

Lesson didnt start late today (the POP PIANO teacher has improved! *clap clap*)
BUT SUI AN LAO SHI cheated me!! ='(
he promised to come early to let me hear the good/pro demos they listened when i was still on mc. But in e end, he only came at 8! wasted my half-hour there lor!
ok, not exactly. i got all the guitar scores i wanted AND i found 真爱宣言 (《再见荧光兰》 [starring thomas wong tian cai & Fann Wong] 's theme song!) piano score! yeah, yeah, i noe it's an oldie by now.. but i reali like the song! & it seems quite simple to play also... *hopefully*

didnt reali do much this lesson. Listened to Dick's speech at the music seminar (which i already attended with merle liaoz...) & discussed the roles & order in making of an album. Quite useless... i dun wanna noe all these stuff! i wanna improve on my song in preparation to the end-of-term performance!
nvm. at least now i know what's the rates ;)

Hanjie is leaving for Aust (melb uni) nxt wk... But she's v nice & pro-active, still organise an outing so we can meet up.. (some people rather remain inactive de lor...)

like wad charm said, hj has the charms~ haha.. charm said it was the "biggest" class outing she's seen. Of cos mah~ hj kai kou, who will reject her?? ;-D
who turned up: hanjie, me, charmaine, derrick, beng hee, ming xian, sanjay, dong yu, jun jing, caleb, dax.
even dax came.. thou late.. thou no money... (he only had $4? or smth...)
suddenly reminded me of my mom's words.. "always bring enough money when u go out!~ not very nice when other people want to eat then u have no money too..."

had steamboat at marina. was supposed to meet @ 6.30. Had estimated the travelling time would be 0.5hr de lor.. turned out, 15min was enough! As if not enough, gan jiong mommy sent me off to the mrt super early, resulting me to reach super early also. So i purposely dropped off at city hall (opp platform is actually towards jurong east. i should drop off at raffles place) & walk the stairs down so that i switch to the platform with train towards marina bay. haha... purposely missed 4 trains AND STILL reached there at 6!! :/

so waited for vvv long time. Hj was late! But surprising saw Audrey, Bao Zeng, Shiqi & Clarissa. Tot got 4O gathering nv ask me. lol.

all in all, the outing was quite nice lah.. just that it's so weird... last time with 04s14 (pae), whenever we go out, there will always be after-meal plans. Actually, there isnt. But all of us would just dun feel like parting yet, guys & gals. It'll always turn out to be wandering around (wun 4get the walk from steamboat to bus-stop then ONE STOP from mrt then to esplanade) & finally, it will end with an in-prompt-to sleepover! Even the guai ones (like me! :P) stay!
but this outing, it was steamboat & just steamboat. Well, that gang of guys have more plans, but they juz refuse? to include the rest of us.. Oh wells. I dun mind anyway. It's already been like this for 2years, what's with 2more hours?
anw meeting hj was the objective. which is why i nv even ask her. 2yrs++ of "kena cheated" le, still wun understand her meh? always have people's hopes high up, then last minute crash the dreams... how she used to use up (the nice way of sayin waste) my free periods gossiping, & yet now choose to ignore me on msn...
sigh. friendship? or so-called friendship?
已经没有期望了，所以也没有失望了。。。
