Lesson 6 & 7

okie.. 1st time updating about my song composing lessons... all for the sake of merle. haha. cos she went for fass foc last wk, & psycho (okok, psychoLOGY =p) camp.. dumped me! hmph! lol
as a side note, i myself wun be involved in any camps... mom dun allow, saying i juz (mid-june til now?) had an op. would disagree with her. But a recent visit to both Dr Lee (dentist) & Dr Yeow (surgeon) changed my mind. Dr Lee commented my wounds are still quite raw. Ee... y do i always have such slow recovery?? =(
well, at least the stitches from the ear are gone! & i was right! the previous nurse who removed my lip&nose stitches left a tiny bit of stitch on my lips! i was puzzled cos when i apply e cream, there is this blackie "blood clot" that wun go away! then i wondered if the nurse didnt do a clean job. turned out i was right...

Anw, Lesson 6 (27/06/06)
i was the only girl present. Merle went for camp, but Phoebe? dunno... (not v close to the classmates). & i was there early... so i went to look around for CDs to borrow & even scores (wondered if i could get a copy. turn out: yes! yeah!! FREE! yeah!!)
classroom was occupied by a newly started POP PIANO class. Supposed to start at 8, but think it was after all their 1st lesson, so they ended at 8.30pm -_-"" apparently sui an lao shi's "walk back&fro" wasnt effective enough. He had to verbally tell the teacher after several failed attempts of walking hints.

So the remaining 4 of us presented our songs. STUPID SUI AN LAO SHI! initially he had said he wun ask me to sing, knowing i juz had op. BUT he broke his promise lor! wah liaoz~ & i had to be the 1st person! :/ so paiseh... sigh. but hecks. juz went with it anw... turn out, tt engineer (tai an??) so cool! had his song (lyrics + guitar accompliment) saved as mp3 alr; tt event planner guy (jj?) only had music (no lyrics. i had lyrics with melody.); that "seng tat?" guy only had chorus melody, refused to sing or add anything on the spot, regardless wad lao shi say... hmms...

OH! i finally got my red guitar!! woo hoo~ (courtesy of the promotion on Open Day. we got to choose from 3 items if we signed up for any course -> 10% off 3-months' fees, an accoustic guitar [normal, sunburst, black, blue, red] or $150 off selected Yamaha keyboards offered by the school)
but wait.

Lesson 7 (04/07/06)
This lesson was even more pathetic. Attendence: 50%. merle & Phoebe didnt come again. This time, tt "jj" joined them. so the right side was empty while the lefy side of the classroom is filled.

Lesson didnt start late today (the POP PIANO teacher has improved! *clap clap*)
BUT SUI AN LAO SHI cheated me!! ='(
he promised to come early to let me hear the good/pro demos they listened when i was still on mc. But in e end, he only came at 8! wasted my half-hour there lor!
ok, not exactly. i got all the guitar scores i wanted AND i found 真爱宣言 (《再见荧光兰》 [starring thomas wong tian cai & Fann Wong] 's theme song!) piano score! yeah, yeah, i noe it's an oldie by now.. but i reali like the song! & it seems quite simple to play also... *hopefully*

didnt reali do much this lesson. Listened to Dick's speech at the music seminar (which i already attended with merle liaoz...) & discussed the roles & order in making of an album. Quite useless... i dun wanna noe all these stuff! i wanna improve on my song in preparation to the end-of-term performance!
nvm. at least now i know what's the rates ;)
