yet another 1st timeSssS...

1st time i didnt bother to carefully study the past year exam papers;
1st time the lecturer had the exact paper format & vv similar questions.

1st time i tried to organise mass outing (after several failed attempts with J1L & jie-meis);
1st time people told me that they are not eating & we ended up in the same fast food restaurant.

1st time i went to a 'supposedly sad' event -- the Moving-On/closure of Library@Orchard;
1st time i had pictures taken under the request of Straits Times reporter & interview by Lian He Zao Bao reporter.

1st time i went from SAD (after not being able to end my last paper of the exams happily cos alot dunno how to do... i wanted to end it with a BANG but i ended it with an EXPLOSION... sigh..) to CONTENTED (really appreciated those who give face to go for the lunch! linda, joyce, shi en, zi feng, kang hua, jackson, lim han.. then got odd one out uncle from GROUP B.. hee.. even wai tuck came to sit with us juz to talk talk... *funny how e B ppl still end up in sch when they ended their exam e day earlier... & BOOs to the two who said will come but one ended up saying not coming last minute, one juz went MIA & since i only noe him by name..) to CHEATED (it's ok to reject my invitation. i'd rather face honest 'no thanks' than lies anytime. serious.) to HAPPY (had such a fun time @ occl with vanessa! after the dinner buffet still went for half-priced cartel cakes... really stuffed ourselves til we had to scissor-paper-stone to see who finish which cake! the winner gets the SMALLER one... hahaha...)

hai.. results out tt day, i hope my feelings wont be in this reverse cycle... *crossing fingers hard*

1st time

omg! it's my FIRST time buying bus concession!! can u believe it?? after studying primary school, secondary school, jc & 2 years of uni, i have NEVER bought concession in my whole life so far fourteen years of studies!!! =O haha..

also cos it has nv been worth it to buy la..
In primary school, i walked.
In secondary school, i had my friend's dad to fetch us in e morning, & after school it was a one-bus trip back home (ie 45cents.. i missed those 45c trips!!!)
In JC, i had my nice nice daddy (=P) to fetch me in e morning, & after school it was a one-bus trip (45c/trip still!!)
In NTU, i still only take one way trip.. & after careful calculation & detailed note-taking, it is STILL not worth to buy! haiz.. cos needa buy both bus & mrt one... grr.. concession = $97/mth while im spending ard $90... still cheaper not to buy la.. cos of e "one way trip" from daddy.. anw e next sem gg change le... cos e timing all super late. SUX LA. but meaning i can buy concession le~ wahaha... then like wad uncle say, "dun have to be so xin ku with carefully selecting the journey plan le" =)

so this time round i bought concession cos im gonna be helping in the Christmas Song Signing!! last yr we performed, this yr gg back as senior attached =) never join e senior performing grp thou.. dun wan e commitment le.. & i did take part in Project ID SS in june le wad... anw our batch is so enthu tt they gonna have 2 senior grps =_= tt's like half of e juniors alr....
but SADz. this time round cos SADEAF under renovation, so gotta have ss practs in sch. GRRRrrr.... so i plan to take 154 & sit until my butt grow flower bah... else transport v ex if i gotta take both mrt & bus... nvm la.. hols = plenty of time to spend =P

woohoo~ concession starting tmr! so exciting!!!

Aren't we getting smarter???

In primary school,
getting >80 marks was normal;
getting >90 marks was good.

In secondary school,
getting >70 marks was normal;
getting >80 marks was good;
getting >90 marks was genius.

In JC,
getting >60 marks was normal;
getting >70 marks was good;
getting >80 marks was genius;
getting >90 marks was genius of the genius.

In University,
no one knows really... from what i see, it all depends on the lecturer... =/
