HELP. n_ _. where should i put u?

They always say "dream come true"
It seems like it's not always just as good that dreams always come true & you get what you wanted.

n 1 2
1. Environment Engineering - No idea about the course. Think it's about the waste, water treatment. bleah. all those env-related stuff bah.
No tea. No booklet. One lousy printed-on-normal-cheapo-coloured-A4-paper brouchure.
Seems to have quite a few china professors/lecturers.
Would be able to work in NEA, PUB, mabye hyflux? govt env-related sectors?
Apparently (from some forum) it is a course where many chem-eng rejects are 'dumped' to. (oops. sorry to sound mean. Ay, didnt noe chem eng THAT HARD to get in. Shld haf tried placing it as 1st instead of 2nd then.)

2. Material Engineering - Gotta do about bio-smth smth (those artificial body parts), nanotechnology (kinda hot now, but im not realli interested *yet*), rare earth (sounds reali cool!), semiconductors.
2 tea sessions. One nicely wrapped booklet, sent BY HAND. (& e guy who delivered pronounced my chinese name, perfectly right summore! *according to my mom)
Quite alot foreign professors/Lecturers. & lots visiting prof *according to the dean
Would be able to work in ??? (not v v sure. but got attachment wad. THIS i am sure of)

For those who dunno, the above are both my 1st choice.
Why different course in different uni?
Cos i wanted something more physics from one & something more chemistry from the other.
So now in dilemma lor =x

In O's, Chemistry always didnt give me trouble. (but then neither did physics)
In A's, Physics always didnt give me trouble. (But this time round, chemistry did lots damage. Which made me lose faith in it already....)

On top of that, option 2 also offer me bursary. Not much. But better than nothing rite? Much better than some lousy links & non-existant announcement that made me missed the other bursary application.
I feel that option 1 on focus on medicine & Law students. Correct me if im wrong, after all it's only my POV. But i seriously dun feel the warmth & sincerity i felt at option 2.

hee. i pruposely dun include any actual name. Most of y'all shld noe what's 1 & 2 rite? =>
anw. Think i just posted a super-biased entry.
im now 88% towards accepting NTU Material Engineering!
