Trade Services Bowling Tournament

okay.. regular "visitors" (i wouldnt call them readers cos there werent much to read these days) would know this isnt posted on tt day itself. Well, tt's my (bad? gd?) habit. To save as draft 1st. hAhAz.. anw, this post is gonna be abt e bowling tornament.

Dun envy me. (not yet) But i just attended another of the company's event ;)
organised by trade services (ie level 3)
well, by the title of this post, you would know what event isit rite? So the idea was every department send a team of four to take part. Our dept, apparently "volunteered" the 4 youngest (In descending order: joanne, maxime, chew lian, ME! =p i hope none of them read this.. wahaha...) We named ourselves "M&Ms". Mainly cos of me. (im aka Mickey Mao *due to not wanting to be concern of any issue regarding copyrights =P) Initially I tot of wearing the disney characters we are, but somehow it ended up as everyone wearing mickey! =) *didnt noe im so popular.. LOL*

anw. we didnt win. expected wad. maybe except some people? Way way before that, i've already told them i cant bowl. They ought to be glad i didnt suffer too much logang balls. Except for the 1st 7 throws. :P well, my bowling has always been like that. The 1st tries i'd be really really bad, den i'd improve.. i even managed to get a STRIKE! (: okay, only one. But im satisfied with my performance le.
oh, muz say THANKS ALOT to grace (hoo?? *hAhA, inside joke ;p ) She gave really helpful comments/advice. Mistakes that i din reali realise i was making. Now i noe why my balls always rolled sing-eh le! yippie! =D

seriously. I doubt our team was targettin any prize. Except the lucky draw maybe? I din noe there's gonna be one. Got excited esp when joanne say it's $20 takashimaya voucher (: then was prayin hard... AND IT WORKED! =) was called at the 4th? (there was 10 i tink) turned out to be NTUC's. But even better rite? at lst it's necessities' shopping. our dept got michelle & joycelyn who got it too! Joycelyn even got the $50 one (3 only i tink) So lucky! but im already more than happy with my $20 extra =)

anw. it was just a game rite? The purpose of this event was prolly about bonding, not so much about winning. We were facing strong opponents (like andrew. Man, there was professional handicap & Positioning handicap. Even AFTER those deductions, he was still FIRST amongst all players lor!) So the chance of winning? 0.000001%?? or even maybe even less. So why bother? The point should be enjoyment, not achievement. Btw, i got lowest according to actual score. But since they give deductions to pro, they also give bonus to old teeth (lao-ya players :P) So after the add-ups (minus-downs for andrew), i wasnt the bottom! okay, i was still at the bottom, but not bottom bottom. all wells. u noe wad i mean ;) hee..
