1st weeks of Uni

Wed (02/08/06) Matri-ed online. Got my timetable. Was super happy i got a 4-days timetable!~ oh wells. i do have to go to sch on fri on wk 7 & 12~

Thu (03/08/06) CoE Orientation.
Say it's orient, but act more like talks... to me, orient = introduction, ice-breakers, interaction, games, cheers... blah! not sit down & listen to talks! :S e emcees erms, could still have lots much more room for improvements. haha! and i would like to add, a punchline read from a script, is no longer a punchline. maybe im being fussy me again lah! hahaha... but e good thing was

had food. twice! [1st aft CoE talk. 2nd aft MSE talk] haha... eng welfare quite nice... met meilian & joyce [njcians! finally!] at mse buffet... they recognised us 1st. Sadly, i dun even noe if i've seen them before! haha... but meilian from s01, fm group leh... met joel, our NJ senior-senior.. hAhA, thru a v funny senerio. C, there was this survey given to us when we enter the lt for mse talk. Then i was filling up the form & there was this line asking "which JC/Poly u from?"... i wrote NJC & linda asked me to spell it out instead. So i exclaimed (with my usual loud voice) "NJ ppl noe wad!!" & Suddenly this guy in front of us dropped all the things he initially had on his table (u noe, tt lt-type of table). so "pi-ling-pia-lang" went the things.. HAHA. & i looked @ linda, she looked at me, thinking, "nj" can bring such huge reaction?? aft he 'stabilised' he turned back to ask us if we're from nj. turned out, he was our senior-senior! haha... so ended up meeting one more njcian! =) went linda's room aft e mse food cos i wanna explore ntu dorm, aft seeing huifang's nus hall... tink i like nus room better :) summore nus differentiate genders by blocks, ntu only by levels lor =S

Fri (04/08/06) PONned the freshman welcome ceremony. after advice from van.. haha! cos she heard it's nothing much. then i read from the booklet that we are going to meet our deans & seniors. Wait. Didnt i do that the day before? NO WAY would i want to spend 3hrs & $4+ to go listen to something i've already done so rite? hee... but i heard that there were bags given! & a touchlight! to on when they say, "freshmen, lights up" haha.. cool.

Mon (07/08/06) FIRST official day of school
So lectures start le... but tutorials nxt wk! got linda's & my notes from joyce, cos she was there on fri (& i wasnt =p). THANKS LOTS JOYCE!! went to phy lect late, haha... end up sitting at the back.. a gal was later than me sat nxt to me, but she didnt noe there were notes we could purchase... so i shared notes with haz. met vanessa thru joyce... had ipc lect. quite fun.. it's a super popular course, mainly cos no exam! hahaha... went hall bash, but :S not enough food lor.. there goes my FREE dinner... & i hate disco/techno music!!

Tue (08/08/06) Material Sci Lect scheduled.. but who knows! e venue clashed with e NBS students' 4-hr lectures!! haha... poor mse students had to wait outside.. but yours truly PON. hee... cos only 1 lect mah! i spent 3 hrs (to&fro journey) for a 1 hr lect? BO HUA LEH! but lect resheduled. to fri! ugh.

Wed (09/08/06) NATIONAL DAY
Yeah! Holiday! But last nat day celebration @ kallang stadium before e renov. me & mum were e lucky ones to be there!! cos of gor (again) :) but more about tt at the later post...

Thu (10/08/06) MSE Day - Fusion 3
Tot whole day free de lor! until linda told me... LOL. so we only went during the free periods break. but quite a lot of pp alr there / gone. & we MISSED THE LUCKY DRAW :S then ate 1st (buffet!) while looking around. not bad lah, got goodie bags, games stations, (there's this "guess-no-of-marbles station. got lucky dip for every guess! =] ) manicure booth, booth selling stuff like earrings... oh! we got a free sample of hair conditioner... it was there i saw that vanessa's bday is 13th aug, haz 21st aug (1 day older than me only!)... so many aug babies in our group... keke...
but i tink we came too slow. had wanted to get e "Fusion" t-shirt but no more stock!! =( thou apparently teachers were still able to get theirs -__-""

Fri (11/08/06) Supposed to have no lesson but got mat sci make-up lect.
Still didnt go to sch ;-) my policy of not going sch on fri!! hee... okay lah, except on wk 7 & 12. heard it's life sci CA lor =x
