Going Out Week

sat: bugis
after cca, was planning to go home de... but somehow got psycho-ed by farragoers to go bugis for dinner =D althou i was gg home for dinner, i decided to go with them, just for the company =) anw, only had dessert there & soon, those gg mayday concert left while e rest of us carry on shopping. yes... i was still gg home for dinner.. but i stayed til like 9pm?? den my mom called. hAhA!! kena scolded =/ but i 嗲-ed back =pPp so yep, ended my sat :)

yesh. bugis again. but tt's cos i pei mommy go kkh so we changed to shuttle bus dere... oh, but i went orchard for job interviews (in a way) at RECRUITEXPRESS. actually i dun even like RE, but ay, reali despo for a job leh!!! anw, e stupid #11-02 made me waited for so so so long!!! ended up being reali reali late for #11-07's interview =X oh & i met this gal... from nygh/hcjc... tot she also yr1 doing bio sci or smth lydat *forgot. heh* , turned up she's already waiting to do her masters! =O

tue: ntu, ps
LANGUAGE PUZZLE!!! Last lesson, in fact.. & a guest lecturer came. she was damn funny... & when we asked if the topic is included in exam (cos there was no notes available & if we are tested, we needa copy e entire slideshow!!!), she said "well, nobody know i was coming for this last lecture & the test paper is already set...." & everyone juz s-l-a-c-k-e-d lah! hahaha... but her lect was interesting... about Singlish - my fav lang!! =D well, after seeing everyone went slack, she persuaded us to stay. well, giving her face + e interesting topic + nth much else to do le = stay back lor~
after tt, cos ended early went track jog 1st w/o waituck. and then went ps to meet farragoers for movie - POC =) anw details of this day is somewhere below =D

wed: bugis
again!! well, tt's cos i was arranged to have an interview with this pharmacy MCD at parkview square. was supposed to be interviewed at 1030am, ended up i was out of the building by 1020am =p reached too early!!! budden the place was POSH man!!! =S actually dun reali wanna work there. e atmosphere was so solemn! everyone serious in their work, so unlike StanChart... well, but then again, my dept became so noisy cos of me :P hee... but anw, till now no news, so i supposed there's no hope le?? =(
after tt, waited until 2+ for joyce to come & meet for lunch. we went parklane wanton mee again!! nice lah, but will get sick of it de?? haha... reali still cant link joyce with budget meals leh.. she reali look like tt sort who would spend spend spend de! haha.. oops!
hmm, we ended up going to bras brasah for her arty-farty stuff ( i din there's student discounts!!) & then mint museum (wah!! $10 to get in lor...) too ex for us to handle so in e end nv go in... & due to joyce's tiredness (she could just get back to her normal life the day before! after her bike accident), we ended up at MOS (MOS BURGER of cos ;-) ) & sat there to chat until it was time for her to meet her care group... & we did smth stupid @ bugis mrt station... wahaha.. well, it involved the free internet access & some tag.. wahaha.. but i shan't disclose much here =p

thur: sentosa, vivocity
sentosa! the place i was sick of during NJC. cos i've been there for orientation, yltc, kids' camp (trial & actual), Pre-U seminar... gosh! never had i been to sentosa so many times in 2 yrs!!! budden haven been back since. it's changed quite alot leh... thou nicer, i still like the old one better =) at lst got free monorail, thou slow one... =) anw was there for job interview! cool rite! work in sentosa...ticketing host... met my NJC senior there!! ching tze! well, apparently she went to NUS Chemistry for a year, decided she dun like it & is doing yr1 mass comm in NP now :) but i felt tt she din reali wanna talk to me, so i din either =/ oh, there was this hc gal also.. just graduaded ie 1 yr younger... but planning to go overseas.. wah... but i wonder on whose scholarship, company's / government's / daddy's ???
anw until also no news from e job... sigh...
shopped abit around vivo on my own. still dun like shoppin@vivo. wad's there to do???? =S but couldnt go home yet due to my unfinished sour plum drink. (i love e 酸梅水 @ e hawker centre!!)

meet up with farragoers again! 3 saturdays in a row!! =) *ok lah.. when we have cca tt time, we also meet every sat wad.. haha.. but this one diff leh.. cos it's outings!* anw went jec to ICE SKATE. my 1st attempt.
conclusion: if you have too much money you wanna waste, go ice skate!
haha.. seriously i tink it's an expensive 'sport'... but ok, end up knowing how to skate while holding someone's hand... who was it? ;) --> YANYI! =) haha.. both of us dunno how to skate lah.. but somehow with someone else by ur side, holding hands, at least we could go round w/o relying on e handrails =) HUGE achievement okay! but eileen was even better!! she was skating BY HERSELF lor.. in e middle... pro! i mean, e fact tt she juz learnt??
oops, i forgot to list down who went! David, Meiying, Yanyi, Wenqi & boyfriend Daniel (Clementi de!), Eileen, Shuhui, Yanting, & me! =) some HIs also joined us! kee soon. oh, & somemore joined us for dinner @ pizzahut --> guocheng, jeffery, rosalind & her friend ruth... ohoh, yiying came down aft work @ changi (T3 rehearsal!) & quanli (meiying's bf, also clementi de!) too..
oh this was planned as surprise gathering to celebrate yanting's bday *again* (we had cake just the previous sat =D) she tot she was meetin another group of frens.. *thanks to eileen for bluffin =p* but was shocked to see us.. haha.. is it centrehead's benefit to have bday celebrated twice? ;-)
but all in all, had a great time.
AND BIG NEWS. i had only known kee soon lives super near me last last sat when we met @ ecp outing... & then during dinner, he was talking to jeffery. he tapped me to tell me jeff lives near me. i tot where... then we started signing...

MY GOODNESS!! we lived SAME blk lah!! hahaha... he was under chinese course for 4 mths & i din noe =/ haha.. budden he's in lvl 1 while i teach lvl 3 wad.. budden even thou kee soon was in my class, i also din noe where he stays until our outing... haha...
so yup, even thou we went home pretty late from the west, this time i had many ppl on the mrt with me (the east ppl: rosalind, david, meiying, guocheng, shuhui (switched to NEL @ outram), kee soon, jeffery & me).. so nice!!! cos so many farragoers/ntu-ians are westerners lor.. e most can pei me till JE only (which was where we were)... so yup, dropped off @ aljunied with kee soon & jeff. jeff even walked me til my blk! HAHA. cos it's his blk too -_-" but he could only take e lift from the left side, me either, so i pei him took e left side one.. haha.. but i went out @ 4th floor lor~ he still needa go 16th.. oh! forgot to add. when i noe he stay same blk as me, i asked him e unit/floor. u noe wad he did?? he scratched his head & took out IC!!! wahaha.. we were joking tt he will take out IC next time ppl ask him his name!! =D hhahaha.. & he's moved for half yr le leh!! still dunno address =/

sun: escape
got tics tt time when i booked chalet for farrago. somehow nv use it... so asked my cousins (kaichian, yinjie, & xinyi & she brought her fren. bernie & jiayi din come thou =( ) out instead! 2nd time we went out as a whole gang, i tink... e last time we did was back in 2003. they wanted to watch movie, but i was working @ watsons! so end up they watch their movie @ bugis so at least we could lunch tgt & took neoprints!
call me mountain turtle. my 1st visit to escape =p somehow always no chance to go bah... & also, it's reali kinda ex, no?? $16.50/tix! man!! & it's so small with so few rides lor... & i heard from kaichian tt some rides are always down. like she's been there 2/3 times & e inverter (cadbury upside-down ride) is always off service! but she's lucky this time =) but i din dare to ride it. i hate rides tt make me giddy. i dun mind roller coaster but not anything spinning ride. even the superman (e yakult sponsored ride) made me quite sick... haha, nope, nv vomit lah.. i enjoy e wet ride most!! went up 6 times i tink... 3 times on my own =p haha... fun sia!! thou get super wet, esp if u dunno how to hide.. oh, go-kart is nice too!!! both single & double... e double needed an over-18 rider, & only me, kc & yj were. but yj werent playing, so we decided to drive xy & her fren sheena... but end up, xy & her fren got in one kart while me & kc another! haha!! e over-18 & under-18 teams!! apparently e person din trust sheena la (she's tall, but still.. only 14??) but she managed to get past.. i tink he doesnt care much lah.. then he came over & asked me (i was e driver) 'how old are you?'... i was elated!! haha.. i mean, i am already 20 lor.. & he dun trust me.. so i shld feel happy? =D haha...
all in all, quite fun lah.. but find things so ex there. only orange julius/BK to eat & e set meals are much more ex than outside lor!! #^%&^%^^^@#% & e games also ex... $2/game... lydat only wad.. nth special still so ex.. wah i sound so auntie! haha.. maybe im juz giam siap la~ =pPp

SO this week was super busy!! been running around... not rewarding in e job-seeking-sense, but rewarding in e social sense.. thou still have many ppl i wanna meet but haven meet.. soon k, ppl!!! =)
