Hunter for the day

hah. super tired today. went to sooo many places... hmm...

WAS SUPPOSED to meet pc & merle @ raffles place @ 11.30am. Being my usual self, i arrived @ 11.15am. JUST slightly on time, thinking that it's alright to wait 15min for them. God knows (or rather im just stoopid not to know/learn) that BOTH of them were late. Merle reached @ about 12NOON, and pc? TWELVE THIRTY. I was DAMN P*SSED OFF lah. hello? i took the effort to be early, cant you all show the least respect to me by being ON TIME. Maybe it's cos of my stupidity. Having known pc for so long, i should have already learnt it rite?? Or maybe it's cos of my kindess, thinking that she has changed for the better. NO. in fact, merle joined her. =(

to look on the bright side, perhaps i should be happy that i was UPSET enough to write another song. hm. but still need some polishing. So not ready to post it yet. heh.

Anw, when i FINALLY get to meet them, we went to SAKAE (pls pronouce as sa-ka-e!!) main office @ OUB Building (think tt's e name). Pc's fren told her sakae is mass-hiring ppl. Those who went on the first day (yesterday) were all hired. So we decided to try our luck. As it turned out, the interview is at TWO. -_-"" which was one hour more to go. & merle had another appt with the job agency @ taka @ 3.30pm. So we went back to the mrt to decide. Luckily pc brought tt day's recruits. so we looked thru it. In e end, i found a telemarkt job holding an interview nearby & decided to go see-see while two of them decided to depart for orchard.

quite scary to go job-hunting on ur own. Especially around places where there are those old, ancient shophouses & full of bars & pubs. =s luckily when i was pondering whether anot to go up, i met 2 malay gals. could c tt they were there for tt job too, so i asked them.
This is weird lor. When we called, they asked us to go to this particular place, but when we reached tt place, there was this guy who asked us to go OppOsiTe & unlock the door (u noe those ancient shophouses have door leading to e 2nd floor) by pressing C or wadever button. "Dont press wrongly" he warned. But i wonder why he used such a heavy tone. Would it be really serious if we pressed e wrong one??
As if not weird enough, this place is FILLED with ppl calling others. Apparently, they have to say smth like
"Hi. I am so-and-so calling from (the company's name which i've forgotten). We've picked ur name from (some Lucky Draw name which i cant rmb). Congratulation! U've been chosen to undergo a FREE makeover... yadda yadda... ..."
Upon reading this, i KNEW i wasnt going to do this kinda job. So obvious it's fake one rite?! If it's really from a draw, how come got picked so many ppl? Somemore some points to take note was "because we are a newly set-up image consultant company, we are inviting you over....". Isnt this contradiction? On one hand, they claimed to pick them out frm draw, on the other hand, they are saying they are inviting selected ppl to participate in e makeover.
Anw, i really dun like to receive this kinda calls. Dont do onto others what you dont want others to do unto you (smth like that lah). I had wanted to run away. But that place really creeps me out. I was kinda scared of those peeps too. So i guai guai wait til the personale was free to see e three of us & made up the excuse that i can only work one month. Hee. That got me off. Hooray!

So i went back to sakae. MAN. There were SoO many applicants lah! But i still tried anw. Pc & merle returned from their orchard trip & went in after my batch. I didnt get any call from them (maybe cos i had too many requests?? i heard they were short of ppl @ e east, so i asked to be placed @ east area... =s) Neither did pc. But lucky merle did. Agreed to work part-time for them.

oh. after tt. We went city hall to try out watsons. (cos i've worked there b4. i know they still hire ppl during xmas season.)
NJ prom was on dat day, at dat place (Swissotel). So met a few NJCians. Saw Mr Dio too. thou doubt he know me. AND THE REAL SURPRISE IS
SEEING MR RONNIE GOH. gosh. the three of us (me, pc, merle) cAnnOt come out in trio lor. The first time we went out w/o qy, we saw gary sim. now, the 2nd time, it's ronnie goh. who's next?! haha. i dun wan le! =p

after tt. we went paragon to c ee teng make up! cos VJ prom oso on tt day. the lips were well-done (hm. not well-done in e steak-like manner hor..) but e eyes not bright/eye-catching enough. But i like e hair too!! keke... then pc got all excited cos her prom (tj) was on e following mon.

Ay, gave up hope in searching for job liao. Ironically, in my house, it's the daughter (me!) who wanna work & it's the mother (my mom lor!) who doesnt want the daughter to go work. hAhAz. so good lor, mom says she'll support me. =)
ay, partly cos i can only work til 21dec lah.

So right here, right now, better inform everyone [or at lst those who visited this site, this page :)
] tt im going for a jaw surgery operation on 22nd Dec.
Gonna have my upper jaw moved forward.
Some have been encouraging --> ooh, tt's means u gonna come out pretty??
